How many of us spend our days operating from our forehead?

As if our whole rest of the body was just there to carry us around.

One of the tools that always bring me to present moment is to find my back – intentionally place my awareness to the back of my body. Into my spine, neck shoulder blades.

Feel into the muscles, bones, skin.

Simple exercise to try this is to close your eyes and walk around the room navigating just with your back. using your senses to guide you in the space.

If you are not used to doing this, it can bring up some discomfort or even feelings of unease.

If that happens, press your back into a wall, bend your knees, and softly lean into it and away from it.
